Snowtober 2011 in Bedford

We have had some freaky weather this year.
Mark and I were in Bedford over the weekend of the historical Snowtober. And within a span of 48 hours, Bedford drastically changed from a bucolic country area into somewhat like a disaster area. Roads were impassable, small streams near-breaching causing some small floods, no power on Saturday and Sunday, all stores and restaurants closed because of the absence of power and heat, and a lot of trees were simply destroyed by the weight of the snow, rain and wind. The trees took over the roads so it was hard to navigate the area.
Power will be restored the midnight of November 2, 2011.
